Mr. Netanyahu is very strong, but he has a fatal weakness, which is that there are still more than 100 Israeli hostages being held by Hamas, and their fate is unknown.
When at the end of August, 2024, Mr. Netanyahu ordered a missile to kill the number 1 leader of Hamas when he accidentally visited Iran, a week later, at the beginning of September, 2024, Hamas ordered the shooting of 6 Israeli hostages to kill in revenge, and announced that the revenge of killing Israeli hostages would continue, if Mr. Netanyahu continued to assassinate other Hamas leaders.
After the shooting of these 6 hostages, hundreds of thousands of Israelis took to the streets to protest against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, the protesters demanded that Mr. Netanyahu prioritize the release of the hostages, not the destruction of Hamas.
Netanyahu was then forced to declare that he would negotiate with Hamas, but accused “Hamas of not wanting to negotiate, because Hamas had killed 6 hostages”.
Netanyahu completely ignored the fact that Hamas only killed 6 Israeli hostages after Hamas’s number 1 leader was shot dead by an Israeli missile in Iran.
We all know that Hamas terrorists deserve criticism and condemnation, when they brutally attacked and killed more than 1,200 Israelis in October 2023 in the Gaza Strip, and took more than 200 Israeli hostages.
But the top priority now is to free the remaining more than 100 hostages, then other issues will be solved later.
Firstly, fighting terrorism must be done with a cool head, not just with a hot blood full of anger and hatred.
There must be intelligence and sobriety, not just crazy anger that has lost all sanity. The Israelis fight Hamas, but they should also show humanity, should provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian victims who are suffering from the devastating war, should send medicine, health care, food, clothing, etc. to help the Palestinians.
Secondly, the Israelis must also blame themselves, why can’t they accept the State of Palestine, can’t recognize the State of Palestine?
It is this stubbornness and mistake of the Israelis that has been the seed that causes all the instability in the Middle East, in the Gaza Strip now, and in the past.
The conflict, the fratricidal war between the Israelis and the Palestinians has lasted for thousands of years, only because the two peoples refuse to compromise with each other, refuse to recognize each other’s existence.
Both the Israelis and the Palestinians must blame themselves first, then they can resolve the conflict, then they can end the war.
Now, in terms of military strength, missiles, weapons, money, Israel is clearly superior to Iran and Hamas.
But war cannot be resolved only by military strength.
War must be resolved by politics, diplomacy, economics, love, humanity, winning people’s hearts, winning people’s soul.
Hamas may be destroyed, but can the Israelis win the hearts of billions of Muslims around the world?
And especially the Achilles heel of Mr. Netanyahu today, there are still more than 100 Israelis hostages still being held captive by Hamas, can they be safely released?
With the policy of massive attacks, using only military force to destroy Hamas, Mr. Netanyahu is holding his own Israeli hostages by himself, Mr. Netanyahu is destroying his own Israeli hostages.
Mr. Netanyahu is the direct cause leading to the killing of 6 poor Israeli hostages in early September 2024. If Mr. Netanyahu had not ordered the killing of Hamas’ number 1 leader in late August in Iran, the 6 hostages would not have been killed by Hamas in revenge.
It is not Hamas that is holding and killing Israeli hostages, but Mr. Netanyahu also must take responsibility of holding and killing his own Israeli hostages, by his policy of using only military force to resolve the Gaza war, without combining it with political, economic, cultural concessions, etc.
Why can’t Mr. Netanyahu make a strong, decisive statement like this:
“Israel will immediately end all military operations in the entire Gaza Strip, after the last hostage is released by Hamas. And then, the long-term peace negotiation process will take place.”
Why not say so???
Why can’t Mr. Netanyahu make such a sober, intelligent, cool-headed decision?
On September 27, 2024, Mr. Netanyahu made a powerful speech at the United Nations, New York, strongly denouncing Hamas, Iran, and declaring “You hurt me, I hurt you”.
And he ended his speech with the powerful statement: “We are winning”.
No, Netanyahu has not won.
Until the last hostage is freed, Netanyahu has not won.
And Netanyahu blindly accuses all countries that want a quick peace solution in Gaza of being “anti-Semitic”.!!!
As long as Netanyahu only uses his military power, with paper bombs, explosive phones, precision missiles, tanks, planes, etc., the Israeli hostages will not be freed, will not be safe.
And that Achilles heel of Netanyahu will bury his career, here and lead the Israelis to a nowhere end.
But the Palestinians should not only accuse the Israelis, but also look at themselves, see if they have made the necessary concessions for the Israelis or not.
Without mutual concessions, the fratricidal war between the Israelis and the Palestinians will continue for thousands of years, with no way out for either people.///
