I do not understand the meaning of the slogan of a low-cost airline is: “Flying is liking right away”.
This is a catchphrase, easy to remember, and quite trivial, it doesn’t sound luxurious, polite, aristocratic, it’s just the common language of people chatting on the sidewalk.
Traveling by plane has the most complicated procedures in the world, the most difficult in the world, the least comfortable in the world, which is you have to take off your shoes, take off your belt to check security, and the cheap airplane has nothing to serve on the plane, even a bottle of water costing a few thousand dong is not available, even though you have to spend millions of dong to buy an air ticket. If you want to drink water on the plane, you must buy that water bottle on the plane for a price in the sky – the price in the sky is completely different from the price on the ground.
What is there to “fly is like right away”?
Is it possible to have simple, luxurious, beautiful, noble slogans-taglines, enhancing the beauty of the Vietnamese language even more?
Let’s take a look at some slogans, taglines of some airlines in the world, very simple, gentle and elegant:
Let’s fly up!
The World on Wings
We’ll have a great flight
We take you there
The sky is happier
Flight takes you everywhere
Flying delta
Have a nice flight!

Fly in the friendly sky

A diplomat, when he landed at a Vietnamese airport, probably wouldn’t be able to say in crude language to his Vietnamese counterpart that he would go to the airport to pick him up, saying:
“Arriving at the airport,
That’s what I like right away.”
Not only airlines, but these popular chatty sayings are appearing in every company, every business establishment, everywhere, at all levels in our country Vietnam.
A big bank has the following slogan “happy”:
“A swipe is a dew of gladsome”.
“Gladsome, blissful, felicitous, ” is a rather crude word, to express a certain satisfaction or contentment.
The Prime Minister of a foreign country visiting Vietnam cannot say to the Prime Minister of the host country that “It is a blissfulness to visit your Vietnam”.!!!
They must have used more beautiful, nobler language.
When US President Bill Clinton visited Vietnam for the first time in 2000, he did not use vulgar expressions such as “It’s elastic to meet you”, or “Visiting this place, I feel like it right way “, or “Eating bun cha, It’s really afloat”, or “Vietnamese Temple of Literature, Seeing is craving,,,.
No, US President Bill Clinton didn’t say that crudely.
But he used the beautiful poem Kieu to express the relationship between Vietnam and the US:
“The lotus is withered, but the chrysanthemum is blooming
The sadness is long, and the days are short, the momentum of winter turns to spring’
Every word in this poem Kieu is as beautiful as a pearl, it sounds like there is music in the verse.
The Vietnamese language is so beautiful, foreigners still know how to use it, why do Vietnamese people not know how to use it, but only see the use of sidewalk words like floating, like it right away, already over, mesmerized, up front, class, terrible, brand name,,,,
I want to replace the other aviation slogan “Flying is like liking” with a short, gentle verse as follows:
“Flying to high sky,
See the stars.”
And I want to replace the crude slogan “Swipe is the dew of gladsome” with a simple and gentle slogan as follows:
“Swipe is civilized”.
Each Vietnamese, let’s join hands to rebuild the image of elegant Hanoians and elegant Vietnamese. ///
