The “The last straw broke the camel’s back”-“Full of water make dam breaking” movement G-Z-Generation of Zoomer-in Nepal in early September 2025, leading to the collapse of the Nepalese Communist Party Government, what did it show us Vietnamese?
It shows that the indignation, anger, and discontent of the Nepalese people have been simmering for a long time, not just since the Nepalese Government banned the internet a few days ago.
For a long time, in Nepal, corruption among Nepalese government officials has been rampant, the police state apparatus has been full of oppression of the people, inequality, social injustice, the gap between rich and poor, government officials and tycoons are extremely rich, while the Nepalese people are poor and miserable.
And the principle of communism is that poverty and social injustice will lead to proletarian revolution.
8 years ago, the people of Nepal hoped that the Nepal Communist Party government would help them solve social injustice, so at that time, the people of Nepal supported and voted for the Nepal Communist Party to come to power.
But no, the Nepal Communist Party government is also corrupt, also evil, and also uses the police force to oppress the people.
So the internet ban in the first few days of September 2025 was just “the last straw”, that cup has been full of dirty, stinking water for many years now, and just one more drop of water will overflow the cup, and just one more drop of water will break the dam, make the water burst the bank.
And when the water breaks the bank, everything gets out of control, the Government cannot control the situation, the police cannot control the situation, and the Nepalese army is cautious to stay out of it, not to intervene, because if the army intervenes, the situation could get even more out of control, there could be a civil war, and foreign troops would intervene,,,.
When the water breaks the bank, it is a situation where no one can control the situation of the country and society, the gentle, meek people, who are silent and obedient every day, suddenly find themselves caught up in the crowd of protesters and vandals on the street, and so, very automatically, as if hypnotized, like robots, those gentle people also shout, vandalize, even kill and beat someone.
Therefore, in that “full of water make the dam breaking”, out of control, the G-Z Nepali protesters vandalized government buildings, and even killed and burned alive the poor woman, the wife of the former Prime Minister of Nepal. The Nepali police also went out of control, shooting dead more than 20 protesters.
The lower the cultural level of the people, the more brutal and savage acts of violence will occur when the dam breaking, protesting.
Look at the protesters in France in recent days, also at the same time as the G-Z protests in Nepal, against French President Macron.
Mr. Macron has been President of France since 2017, up to now 8 years, quite a long time, but the problem is, in his 8 years, Mr. Macron replaced 7 Prime Ministers, because the French economy stagnated. But the French people are highly educated and knowledgeable, realizing that the responsibility for the economic stagnation is not only the Prime Minister, but President Macron must bear the highest responsibility. But Mr. Macron is brazen, only blaming the Prime Ministers, and replacing 7 Prime Ministers, and when this September 2025, when Mr. Macron replaces the 7th Prime Minister, just like Nepal, “the last straw”, the French people can no longer stand this irresponsible, responsibility-evading President Macron, and they take to the streets to protest, demanding Mr. Macron’s resignation.
French protesters are also famous for being violent, anarchist, and have a tradition of vandalism since the French Revolution in 1789 nearly 300 years ago, but the French still have a high culture, they pile up all kinds of garbage, plastic bottles on the streets, neatly in a horizontal row, then burn them to express their opposition. There were also some extreme, out-of-control actions, such as burning down a bakery or a cafe in Paris.
But the protests in France did not involve killing, did not involve burning women alive like in Nepal, and the French police did not use live ammunition to shoot protesters to death like in Nepal, only using tear gas guns, smoke grenades, and when the police-gendarme arrested protesters, they also tried not to injure or hurt the protesters. The elderly who were arrested by the French police were not handcuffed, but were only guided and escorted to a police car to be taken away.
In England, these days, September 2025, there were also fierce protests against immigrants, and against extreme Palestine, as well as extreme Israel. And both sides, British protesters, and British police also tried to treat each other quite politely, peacefully, not too violently, bloodshed like in Nepal.
What about Vietnam, if there is a protest against the Vietnam Government, will it be quite polite, cultured, controlled like in France, England, or will it be uncontrolled, rioting, vandalism, killing, burning, burning alive like in Nepal?
We hope that Vietnam will not be like Nepal.
But there is also discontent in Vietnam.
The most common is the gap between rich and poor, social inequality.
And the social indignation in Vietnam these days is directed towards some real estate tycoons, such as Vincom, SunGroup,,,.
What is that indignation?
That is, all Vietnamese people see the absurdity happening right before their eyes, every day, every hour, that those real estate tycoons are getting rich on public land, getting rich like crazy, thanks to buying public land at dirt cheap prices – State prices, building apartments, supermarkets, amusement parks, cinemas,,, selling, renting, doing business at market prices, becoming dollar billionaires overnight, and not only that, there are also signs of manipulating real estate market prices, increasing virtual house and land prices, to increase asset values as if by the magic of Sun Wukong, after just a few days the value of real estate assets increased by billions of dollars.
That enrichment is an unjust enrichment, an enrichment on the blood of millions of compatriots and soldiers who sacrificed and shed blood in the wars for independence for the country, and today, the fruits of the revolution fall into the hands of real estate tycoons.
That is the seed of the simmering anger that has lasted for many years in our socialist Vietnam, people do not see socialism anywhere, they only see the whole society enriching a handful of real estate tycoons like Vincom, SunGroup,,,.
The 68 social networking sites that criticize Vin, and are being sued by Vin, are just the tip of the iceberg, which is the anger of hundreds of thousands, millions of Vietnamese people, who do not know where to express themselves, so they have to rely on these social networking sites to express their anger, that Vin and Sun did something to get rich so quickly, after only a few years, their assets increased to billions, billions of dollars, what talent, what benefit did they bring to society?
Or is it just thanks to Nguyen Tan Dung signing decisions to legalize the sale of cheap public land, to get rich on the blood of the people?
Vin wants to clarify the right and wrong of Vin’s business figures, profits, and debts. But what does Vin’s business figures mean? They will be thrown into the fire of anger and indignation of millions of poor Vietnamese people who cannot even buy a small house in their entire lives after years of participating in wars, revolutions, and sacrifices, while Vin, Sun,,, are filthy rich after only a few years, since Nguyen Tan Dung signed the decisions legalizing the sale of public land to tycoons.
The Vietnamese people’s discontent with Vin, Sun,,, is becoming a small, smoldering, but extremely terrible fire. If it explodes into a big fire, it can get out of control. And for the Vietnamese people, who have a tradition of fighting, fighting, knowledge of fighting, knowledge of guerrilla warfare, even if there are riot police wearing sunglasses and riding armored vehicles, it is just child’s play.///
