In the current Ukraine-Russia war, starting on February 24, 2021, more than 2 years have passed, the Ukrainian army has injured about 20,000 people, of which about 1,000 people have lost legs and arms. Some people lost 1 leg, some people lost 1 hand, some people lost both legs, or both arms, or lost 1 eye, or their faces were burned, deformed by shrapnel,,,.

The Russian army probably had similar casualties.

For injured soldiers whose genitals are not affected, they still have the need to get married, and have children.

But if you lose your arm, your leg, or your body posture is deformed, how can you be make happy as usual?

That is a big question that is widely spread among the community of wounded Ukrainian soldiers, and they advise each other, passing on their experiences to each other, which no able-bodied consultant can know.

Only those involved, those who have been injured, and have experienced the real life of people who have lost their legs or arms, can have real experiences to pass on to each other and help each other in this situation of sad, full of tears, but also full of happiness.

Ms. Alaska, nickname, nurse, 23 years old, was giving aid to her comrades in a house when a Russian drone flew in and exploded, sending shrapnel flying everywhere. Ms. Alaska had several pieces of bomb stuck in her body, one piece went through her hip bone, near the spine, and one piece went through her thigh.

She was immediately moved to the rear, and treated in field hospitals.

Her boyfriend came to visit, he is also a Ukrainian soldier, belonging to another unit.

She felt that he was embarrassed when he came to visit her, because she was always in pain all over her body, and she had absolutely no idea whether she would be able to have children or not.

They don’t dare say anything about whether they will continue to have a relationship and whether they will get married or not.

But then their comrades and family helped them get closer together, encouraging them not to abandon each other and to stick together forever.

Well, a few months later, they got married, but they still didn’t know how they would do that happy thing, because her body was still in a lot of pain when there was physical contact.

Then, an organization called Resex in Kiev was established, this organization includes Ukrainian veterans who have been injured, and have experience in preserving marital relationships, in advising on how does lovemaking between couples get injured?

Guidebooks were published by this organization, and distributed to wounded soldiers.

This book advises Alaska and her husband, before doing that, to talk to each other intimately, cook together, wash clothes together, do household chores together, bathe together, and help each other, scrubbing each other’s bodies while taking a warm bath,,,.

That will reduce stress, and help the body and mind relax.

Finally, happiness came to the two of them. Alaska became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby.

The story of a young man named Serhii, 28 years old, is somewhat more tragic, because after being hit by a Russian artillery shell, he was injured and both of his legs were crushed, and after that, doctors had to amputate both of his legs.

In addition, one of his eyes was also damaged by artillery fragments, and his eye was gouged out.

His face was deformed, not looking as handsome as before he was injured.

But luckily for him, his girlfriend Svitlana still visited him in the hospital.

The first time she visited him, when he had just had both his legs amputated after 1 week, she looked at him and was horrified, unable to recognize her lover anymore.

Just over 6 months ago, when they parted and he went to the battlefield, he was still healthy, tall, handsome, and full of excitement.

But love helped her try not to reveal her feeling of horror, she tried to stay calm, and talk normally with him.

Then, she helped him onto the stroller, and took him into the narrow bathroom to clean him up.

And there, they made love passionately, even though both of his legs had just been amputated, and a huge wound in his abdomen was still covered in bandages.

The only problem was that they were having sex on a stroller-wheelchair, and the stroller was very unstable, so they had to try very hard not to fall to the floor. And every movement caused him pain, but they were young, and full of energy to overcome it all.

Later, Ms. Svitlana responded to journalists as follows:

-“He was injured and lost both legs, an eye, and a huge hole in his stomach, but he can still do a man’s job. We paid no attention to the doctor’s advice to wait a few more months. We are young, and full of energy.”

Then, after that, they consulted RESEX’s opinions, and created their own positions to make love more convenient. Then they received contact from another wounded Ukrainian soldier, asking them for advice, and this soldier lost both arms.

Sherhii boy, and Svitlana has shared her lovemaking experiences with the other guy, but they are not sure if their experiences will help the guy who lost two arms, because the support of both hands is very important when making love.

30-year-old Tiurin was shot in the leg by a Russian soldier, and the bullet traveled all the way up to his groin before stopping. Doctors had to amputate his right leg, leaving him with his left leg.

He was treated and recovered after surgery at a hospital in Lviv city.

The female nurse who took care of him had feelings for him. They kept in touch, and a few months later, they were married.

Mr. Tiurin said with one leg, making love was quite inconvenient, so he had to think of some of the most convenient positions himself, and consult with RESEX, and after that, everything seemed to go quite well.

His wife was pregnant, and his daughter Mariya was born in early 2023.

Returning to the story of Mr. Serhii and Ms. Svitlana, they also just had a child, he often carried the child on his lap, and his two steel prosthetic legs rested firmly on the floor.

He said before he was injured, he called her and asked her if he was injured, would she continue to have a relationship with him?

She replied thoughtfully:
